How many people visit your website, which pages they open and where they come from, month by month. In the dashboard: Hosting → website name → Statistics.
The tab is available in plans that include traffic statistics. There's nothing to install: the server counts visits on its own, with no code on your website and no cookies for your visitors.
What you'll find
- Month: it opens on the latest month with data; use the arrows to go back to earlier months.
- Visits, Unique visitors, Page views and Bandwidth (the data your website sent, in MB or GB).
- Below, the total requests (pages, images, stylesheets, scripts) and how many were blocked by the protection on the server: attack attempts and too many login attempts in a row.
- Visits per day: hover over a bar to see that day's visits, page views and bandwidth.
- Most viewed pages, Where visitors come from (websites that send you visits, such as search engines or social networks), Browsers and Operating systems: the top 10, with their share of the total.
Figures update every 5 minutes and start from the day your website was activated.
How they're counted
- A visit is a series of pages opened by the same person with breaks shorter than an hour: someone who comes back two hours later counts as a new visit.
- Unique visitors are the different addresses visits come from during the month: several people on the same network (an office, a school) count as one.
- Search engines and other automated programs count towards requests and bandwidth, not towards visits, page views or the lists.
- Dates and days are in Italian time.
The figures may differ from tools such as Google Analytics: those only count people who accept cookies and have JavaScript turned on, while the server counts every request.
