Website backups

We back up every website every night: files and databases. You don't need to turn anything on.

How it works

• The backup runs every night, around 3:00 (Italian time).
• Copies are kept for 7 days, in an external archive separate from the website's server.
• The backup includes the website's files and its databases.

Restore a backup

Restoring is free. For now you request it from support:

1. Write to support with the website's domain and the day to restore (one of the last 7).
2. Tell us whether you want to restore everything, only the files or only the databases.

Restoring replaces the current data with that of the chosen day: changes made afterwards are lost. If you need them, download them first via FTP or export the database from phpMyAdmin.

An extra copy

If you want a copy of your own, for example before a major update, download the files via FTP and export the databases from phpMyAdmin.
